Vero

Our most notable accomplishment in fostering a more resilient staking ecosystem is Vero. We developed this robust multi-node validator client that helps protect stakers from the risks of relying on a single client implementation. By combining data from multiple beacon nodes, Vero only submits an attestation when a majority of the connected nodes agree on the state of the chain. Apart from protecting validators from attesting to a buggy version of the chain, this also means that if a single client experiences downtime or an unexpected bug, your validator can keep operating without missing rewards or putting your stake at risk.

One of Vero’s key advantages is its seamless compatibility with the Ethereum remote signing API, making it easy to integrate into existing setups—or revert to your previous configuration if needed.

Whether you’re a home staker seeking added security or a large-scale operator aiming to maximize uptime, Vero’s architecture offers a powerful yet simple way to embrace client diversity.

Software we use

We actively contribute to the software we use, ensuring its ongoing improvement and reliability. From testing early release candidates to uncover potential issues before they become widespread, to thoroughly investigating and fixing bugs whenever we encounter them, we see ourselves as active participants in the open-source ecosystem. By taking these steps, we help maintain the highest quality of the software in our stack, while also giving back to the broader community.

Our hands-on involvement with the software not only benefits the projects themselves but also gives us valuable insights into the inner workings of the tools we rely on. We’re proud of our contributions to various parts of our software stack, whether that’s providing feedback on functionality, crafting new features, or resolving technical challenges. Contributing back in these ways fosters our expertise and fuels a mutual relationship of continuous learning and innovation within the open-source community.

ethstaker.tax

Since 2021, ethstaker.tax has been making it simple and hassle-free for Ethereum stakers to determine their staking income with just a few clicks. Whether you're a first-time participant or an experienced validator, this easy-to-use website provides quick access to accurate staking income information without the need for time-consuming calculations or specialized knowledge. We believe that by simplifying the process, more people will be encouraged to stake and this benefits the Ethereum staking ecosystem.

The more individuals that participate in staking, the more secure and decentralized the network becomes, ultimately bolstering Ethereum’s resilience and longevity. Our goal at ethstaker.tax is to remove the complexities that often deter new users from staking, so they can focus on contributing to the growth and stability of the Ethereum community.

“ethstaker.tax saved me. Although I didn't use it for the 2023 tax year, using it to cross check my numbers made me aware of miscategorized node and minipool income by Koinly. I would have under reported income by $$$$. Thank you!”
